Avenger Tryout Information

The Alabama Avengers Semi-Pro Football Team will hold Tryout Registration on Saturday, December 5th from 10am until 1pm and Sunday, December 6th from 1pm until 4pm at Hibbett's Sporting Goods in Oneonta, Alabama. Anyone that cannot make these registration dates is advised to email avengersfootball@yahoo.com for a registration form.

Tryouts are set for Saturday, December 12th from 10am until 3pm and Sunday, December 13th from 12:30pm until 4pm at Dickie Burleson Field, located in Blountsville City Park on Park Dr in Blountsville, Alabama. 2010 Season Fast Approaching

The Alabama Avengers are a semi-pro minor league football team located in Blount County, AL. The Avengers, formerly located in Gadsden, will be coached by Dusty Thomason and Dylan Bell. With more than 40 men ready for the December 12th & 13th tryout, both coaches are excited about the upcoming 2010 season. Time is of the essence if the Avengers are to be successful. With workouts to begin in January, the team must get alot done in a short time. The first Preseason game will be on Feburary 20, 2010 with the regular season to begin on Saturday March 6, 2010 in Columbia, SC against the Metro Thunder.

Blount County is located north of Birmingham and sits between Cullman and Gadsden.
